Because so much of the 'trump is bad' circlejerk was absolutely fucking retarded, done in bad faith with gleeful misinterpretation of facts, I felt like I couldn't trust any of it, and so it took me waaay longer to come to the conclusion that trump is in fact bad.

The question isn't whether he is bad, it's whether there are any viable better candidates for the job. I've no doubt there are, but none have been put forward.

I also am sympathetic to arguments that, while Trump is horrible, Biden is worse. I personally don't really agree though - I think I'd prefer a semi-competent person I disagree with driving the ship than an incompetent person I disagree with slightly less
