I'm also kind of mad that you told everyone to lock down. It feels cowardly. It reminds me of times I felt deserted by rationalists when I needed help and support, and I hated it. I think rationalists need more loyalty and testosterone.

My opsec is not tight and a reasonably capable actor could get my identity and employer in probably half an hour of work. My manager likes me but I am not indispensable and my employer is quite PR sensitive. I've said plenty of things here I don't want to see in NYT.
