I'm often tempted to do some analysis around certain beneficial things, but I don't know how to do it without intense mockery. How do you talk honestly about the benefits and experience of advantages you have without people going "oh poor you"?

I don't know that you can do much about it, tbh. You can't control other people, but you can control the people you're around! Perhaps just put it out there and make heavy use of the ignore button?

Knowing your audience, not everyone is prepared to talk seriously and many need humor so that their ignorance on the subject is not evident.
