The one area I *do* think actually has good evidence to support "racism" (or something something race-based preferences) is sexual attraction. It does seem like black women are pursued less on the dating and sex markets.

Ah yes, definitely. There's many cases where I think things people brand as "racism" are also things it's extremely important to preserve people's right to do.

IMO the word is losing its "clout" bc so many seem to be using it so casually for everything.

I'd be suspicious if someone dismissed an entire category though. Like expressing a general preference, tendency to date... sure, but black, white, asian are so broad/diverse that someone saying they don't find X people attractive full stop are likely being irrational/bigoted.
