The one thing that surprised me was "I don’t see a lot of discourse around this" because isn't the AA community known for doing a LOT of community development work with a high focus on responsibility & fatherhood?

Not my scene either obv so I don't have great references handy, just like... for decades, dealing with the archetype/myth of the "absent black father" and I'm sure there's been a lot of racism in community development too but, heard a lot of internalized responsibility messaging
