It is not a good rebuttal when the guy's first points, are semantic and not substantive "the woman wasn't fired, her contract wasn't renewed." Then he goes on to question JK Rowling's authority on speaking on these issues, despite the two pages JK spends talking about it.

I'm impressed by her saying something she believes in when she knows it will get her torn down. I don't fully agree with it (I'm not very feminist myself, and she's closer to radical feminism) but I'm impressed whenever I see anybody in her position do something like that.
