Breakdown the killings and look at what the officers encounter during those lethal force incidents. So many of them are when an officer faces a legitimate life threat with little/no option to de escalate or take any different action 1/

So many people want police “retrained” however they typically fail to mention what that is or how to do it. It boils down to a fundamental lack of understanding of what it is police do. There are 800,000 cops in the U.S. and they approx 375 millon public interactions annually 2/

Because even *if* he's one of the "good guys" who won't get pissed at you if you disrespect him, he's still going to use force to enforce a law that prevents me from doing what I want even if it's involving 100% consenting parties who are hurting nobody.

Everyone has a “this one time a cop did a thing” story. I know there are bad cops and all cops have bad days. We are not immune to the normal day to day pressures of life. We however also get the immense pressure of police work piled on that as well.
