When I think about this through the lens of fighting police brutality no matter who it's against, I suddenly feel totally on board.

No, not at all. Just, wherever police brutality exists, it's bad, and 'who' it's against isn't that important to categorize; the bad thing is police brutality. If it happens to never happen against white people, also still irrelevant.

I'm so frustrated by how the unifying anti-police brutality protests seem to be wholly hijacked by BLM. Have this poster to bring out over the weekend. TBD of we join, though.

It shouldn't be only about blacks. american police is badly trained/educated or the opposite trained to do the wrong things.

Breakdown the killings and look at what the officers encounter during those lethal force incidents. So many of them are when an officer faces a legitimate life threat with little/no option to de escalate or take any different action 1/

There are so many issues that would disproportionately help people of color, but would help everyone regardless of race. I wish the country could tackle them more productively instead of getting polarized.

you are right to observe that police violence in America is a problem
do you also observe that racism is a problem?
imagine how these two problems intersect 🤔
imagine how "all lives matter" is a childishly naive response to the disproportionate effects of these problems 🤔
