There's something about what's going on in the world that triggers something more visceral in me. I feel more afraid, angry, tribal. I am absolutely terrified of how I see everyone responding. It's not really what they say as much as the frames they use to say it.

does it help to write things down but not share them? or does that make you feel more disconnected in turn?

That's how I felt about a week ago. What fixed it for me was going to a protest.

Most of us would be writing inelegant tweets, yet decide against it. You are therefore inundated by people who lack this self awareness. This is giving you a skewed impression of the state of the world.

Engage with protesting police violence and racism... that’s what I’m doing with my anger. Focusing it on the problem.

Except other protestors are a big part of what's making me feel uncomfortable

Bay Area is the wrong place to be at the moment, IMHO.

Yeah I'm starting to regret moving here. I don't really know where else to go now though.

Don't be afraid. Consider the unseen. Most very publicized movements are just a very small % of the population, inflated by media attention. Only 3% of people joined the American revolution to fight. Most ppl just want to get on with their lives. Most keybd warriors won't do shit

Unplug. Recenter. Go to someplace grand. Where you feel small but at peace. A nice peak somewhere in the woods perhaps. And just sit there with no sound. The noise is 99% bullshit.
