My advice... don't get hooked on plastic surgery. Love yourself for who you are, YOU are beautiful just the way you are. Changing the outside doesn't change the inside. It's fine if you're just doing this once, but please don't make it a habit. Also, I love ya, you're the goods

Oh I think I'm fine. People just treat you better if you're attractive, and being treated better is really useful.

Do you think you’ll change the “eh why not” attitude? Or, because at a macro level the suffering is worth it, you’ll just continue doing whatev?

I think it's okay to say to oneself, "eh, why not", as long as it's preceded by a mental note of the reasons why one might not.

I'm on the perspective level with cosmetic/aesthetic personal choices for procedures and operations. As long as you are aware and willing to accept the negative possibilities should there be any.

It's frickin' MAJOR surgery for goodness sake. It's invasive. Your body is reacting to being abused. It's going to take time, maybe a long time, to fully heal.
