"Hey I need a covid test before surgery, how much is it?"
"Don't worry, insurance will cover it"
"Oh no, I have @aboutKP, they said they wouldn't"
"Oh god Kaiser, yeah you're screwed. That'll be $190 please"
Now I've got -$190, a neg covid result, and a hunt for new insurance

Ah. That still sounds pretty junky though. You are showing no signs, yet they mandated the test. Shouldn't matter if the surgery is elective or not. You shouldn't have to pay and Kaiser in California is the absolute worst.

Unfortunately, I think we both know that is the case. I worked for United Healthcare for 6 months and then left because I could not accept what shit they pulled on their clients.
