i have a strong soft spot for stuff like this. Insane beliefs, ridiculous sexual fetishes, bizarre niche communities, anything that really is teetering on the edge of the cliff of society... all of it just warms my heart.

I am a playable character in a distant future arcade-like game that can simulate reality and consciousness for the purposes of entertainment. They live my entire life in one sitting, then after will either play again as someone else, or continue with theirs.

Believing and claiming to know don't have to the same thing. In my opinion it falls in the realm of what could be possible, given the progress we're already seeing in technology, simulation and AI it is not unrealistic to assume that +500 years of that this could be reality.

The case: Multiple scientific surveys indicate that the avg member of Homo Sapiens has 6-10 sexual partners over the course of their lives. (A large percentage have more, sometimes many more). 40-50% of marriages end in divorce (often caused by non-monogamy).

Atlantis was probably real. It’s at least very plausible. There‘s mounting geological evidence of a catastrophic cosmic impact. Virtually all ancient cultures has a flood myth. And there are multiple impact myths that align perfectly in time.
