I have a lot of difficulty recognizing faces, to the extent that it's occasionally inhibited my life. I also just assume other people don't recognize faces either, and won't recognize me, and I'm always shocked when someone recognizes me online from something they saw years ago.

like I understand that other people have better facial memory than I do, but I haven't really realized it on a gut level, and I have an ongoing sense of feeling as though I'm faceless, like my face doesn't exist in anyone else's minds.

I don't know? I'm good at recognizing faces for people who are regularly near me, but bad if it's irregular or new. For example I met a homeless guy who invited me to go spray painting. I ran back home to get stuff and when I returned to the street I didn't know which one was him

I'm very good with faces, but terrible with names, to the point where I don't remember the names of people i see at work every day. It doesn't help that everyone at works knows me. Its embarrassing!
