Weird how a culture that harasses women outside if they don't wear burqas is oppressive but a culture that harasses me outside if I don't wear pants is just a casual default.

The culture that hassles women for not wearing a burka would also hassle you (or do much worse) for not wearing pants. Your culture hassles you less often, although still too much, and that is good.

To be fair, people who go outside without face coverings deserve to be harassed from a safe distance.

I'm... not sure if I want to roll my eyes or have my mind blown. I can't find any holes in your logic but I really don't like it. Is this what it feels like to be the old guard? Trippy stuff.
I mean, I see a woman with no pants on I'm going to look. But, that's where I stop. I am not into judging anybody.
but men also need to wear pants here. men don't need burqas there.
