I've done it. I've moved into San Francisco proper. I'm in kind of a bad area but that's ok because I apparently have some good luck aura around me that repells all bad street experiences

This was like, a day after I'd put down the deposit. Ofc I live at one of those intersections.

My wife gave up her spacious rent controlled apartment on Grand Ave to move to a utilitarian hovel in Sacramento (that was smaller and cost more). I like to think she's got that same aura, since we got married then uprooted and moved out of CA.

👍 Tenderloin isn't nearly as bad as most people will tell you. Lived there for years and it was nothing but fun
