This guy scraped reddit's "Am I The Asshole" subreddit - apparently posts that mention a girlfriend/wife are more likely to be branded 'asshole' than posts that mention husband/boyfriend, or parents.

Could it be a reflection of the fact that the answer to AITA is usually "yes"? If you have to ask then you probably know the answer

It's an interesting collection of anecdotes, but not enough for me to draw strong conclusions about anything other than the trends of that subreddit.
