do you ever look back at past years and realize you had a problem then that you don't any more - that somehow, quietly along the way, an issue just vanished from your makeup? I just had this about anger. I forgot that I used to be super confused about how to express it-
-
-
I realized my issue and did what I thought corrected it - but down the line have seen the repercussions and realized that dealing with it in the manner I chose wasn't necessarily the most healthy.
-
(Though everything happens for a reason and in retrospect wouldn't change a thing because it led me to where I am today.)

Did you start listening to death metal? Moshing is very cathartic.

Absolutely! Those are your life.lessons and you were bigger than those things were. It's just the same as people. There are two types of people/issues in the world. Those that are here for a season and those here for a season. We learn from the seasonal and they move on. 1/2

The ones here for a reason are because we didn't learn from the season. With people though they are still here because they hold a value in your journey or you haven't learned you don't need them after all. 2/2

I absolutely experience this feeling a lot; there's something kind of beautiful to me about the way that time sort of sneakily, slowly heals and remolds who you are, until one day you notice that you've come a long way.

How did the expression of anger shift as time went on?
