I don't understand why inequality is inherently bad. It seems fine to me. Force is bad, and sometimes inequality is created through force - but inequality is not *in and of itself* bad. I often (not always) interpret people who dislike inequality as envious and dissatisfied.

Your tweet was very Nietzschean. He's one of the greatest prose stylists ever -- even in English translation.

Force bad + inequality good sounds more like ayn rand than nietzsche. But I agree that nietzsche is marvelous, even when he's wrong.

oh please do!! in my opinion though, dont start with beyond good & evil. it's how everyone erroneously in history to date has tended to first consume him. i started in order. he viewed life (to me) narratively. a beginning, middle and end

Nietzsche writes in aphorisms; when I read The Gay Science, I drew a line through the middle of one. Above the line, I wrote 'this is really beautiful'-- below, ' here he sounds like a nazi.' That's nietzsche. Even when he's wrong, he does it beautifully. Well worth your time.
