Just got off a phone interview with a psychiatrist to discuss me having autism. It was terrible. He assumed a lot about me and kept getting hung up on "You had a traumatic childhood and now you're a sex worker".
Does anyone have recs for sexworker-friendly psychiatrists?

also i would have been fine with him blaming my weirdness on my childhood/job if I felt he'd actually been thorough and came to the conclusion after exploring all the possible objections I had. But he did not. He just immediately heard it and was like 'that thing. that is it.'

I could recommend a SW friendly and affirming therapist or organization if you need it.

I’m no expert, but it does seem like traumatic childhoods and sex work would be things to dig into if you’re a psychiatrist, no?
