Everyone said 25 was the time your brain stopped developing and I never really knew what that meant - but, now that I'm 28, it feels like a real thing. It feels like there was a meaningful shift in my brain at around 25. Do you guys feel like this happened at all?

My brain feels good now, just... different? Like, I think I identify with who I was up until 25; before then feels like it was someone else. When I was 25, I remember feeling like I only identified with my past selves at around 12-6 month intervals.

I haven't felt a meaningful shift so much as a slowing down of change with every passing year that I can remember... hope this doesn't completely stop anytime soon, though. I like growing!

As someone much older that 25, your mind continues to develop and change, the rate changes and unless you are actively open to novelty it can solidify and become very closed. It takes effort to stay open to new ideas. Perhaps having children affects this but I would not know
