Sort of yes? I know maybe that sounds weird, but like... there's something really powerful in having something diagnostically named and labeled as a common experience. People talk about this sort of relief after finding out the name for their mental illness, not "Im just weird"

I don't understand why we need a "theory" for this. The goal should be to reduce societal pressure to conform to group stereotypes. Modern gender theory solidifies gender stereotypes and insists a binary expression exists where it never truly existed in the first place.

To be clear, I draw a sharp distinction between political gender theory/ideology and the psychological phenomenon called "gender dysphoria." They're two very different things. We should investigate the latter phenomenon. The former is regressive nonsense.
