Putting that aside, there are people with no money saying of themselves that "they are rich". They are not mistaken, they are just challenging what our society says is valuable, and reclaiming the definition of value for themselves.

Similarly, non-binary people may have very different definitions of gender, or on what a man or a woman is - when they even have definition. What they share in common, though, is that they reclaim for themselves to say what gender they are.
