I've been poly for nearly ten years, and absolutely have been madly in love with someone while simultaneously flirting with someone else. And my partners have done the same! Feeling attractive and teasing people has nothing to do with being in love with someone else, for me.

Not necessarily? For me it's proof of security. If I can feel happy that my partner is flirting with someone else, then that's good evidence that I'm really secure in the relationship and feel confident that he's not going to leave me.
