Does anyone have a guide to navigating the scenes of Twitter? (Eg discovering new ones, understanding who the central figures are, etc)

Concrete case: Let’s say I want to meet circles of interesting poets on Twitter. How would I do that?
I suppose one obvious way is find a poet I like and see who they follow and retweet. But are there network analysis tools I can use?

There was a huge "map of twitter" released a month or so ago, I'll check to see if I can find it, but it might be what you're looking for; you could see different cultural clusters and central figures of those clusters.
It was more "our sphere" tho, not "twitter as a whole"
