I didn’t say you were talking about autism - I said you were talking about eugenics which is a subject that hits different for a lot of autistic people. As another person pointed out - whatever particular condition you’re talking about doesn’t really matter

That just because someone tells me I'm hurting them doesn't mean I'm... actually hurting them? Or, I am, but in the same way I hurt my old religious community, which is something that's an unfortunate side effect but I'm not going to change my behavior to appease them.

So when I hear people on twitter saying "stop you're hurting us", how am I supposed to tell this apart from the arguments the religious people made to try to control me?

Oooof fuck that gives me a lot of context for where you’re coming from honestly - I feel you tho I had a very similar experience w religion and criticism. I think ultimately a religious identity and an identity associated w a genetic condition are very different
