I'm sorry, there's too many of you I can't even keep up with the 'verify via tweet' system I set up, and the twitter UI makes it literally impossible to do this quickly (no sorting or searching), and there's maybe thousands of requests? Idk how many because TWITTER'S UI SUCKS

oh, maybe i could just have you tag my private twitter in your 'reasonable' tweet, I could navigate to your profile easily and approve you from there? haha NOPE there's no option to approve your follow request from your profile

No, I have to open a shitty small browser pop up that won't load all the requests at the same time (unloads them when you scroll) so I can't ctrl-F. The requests are not alphabetized, and there's a massive amount. This is a nightmare.

If I want to go approve someone I know, I have no way of doing this. I have to just slowly scroll through the huge list and hope that I find them one day.

That's the disadvantage of "private" profiles on social media, the target consumer for those profiles doesn't even reach a thousand followers normally, I think that the idea of a more controlled community is great but maybe there's another more optimized way to do it? idk.
