YOU might not be talking about autism, but your argument is nevertheless a threat to autistic people -- to anyone with a bodymind deemed "divergent" and "lesser" by the dominant culture. Who do you think would be in charge of deciding whose bodyminds are "bad" and need "fixing"?!

PLEASE consider for a moment that other disabled people can and do love our bodyminds, too. My genetic condition does not need fixing. I do not need fixing. Ableism needs fixing. The social, spatial, political, and economic marginalization of disabled people needs fixing.
