It doesn't cure diseases, though. It just kills the people who have them. If you shoot everyone with cancer, you sure as fuck didn't cure it.

I sort of interpreted eugenics to include stuff like doing IVF or something with cells prescreened to not include diseases, or even abortions (which many people don't consider to be "killing a person").
Yeah but that still is saying you don’t value certain people. I’m pro-choice, but aborting disabled kids solely for being disabled is ableism... doesn’t help anyone but further stigmatizes disabled people.. think again
Like what you’re advocating their is not pro-choice... it’s anti-disability. It’s different if you’re aborting a child with a disability because you can’t afford the care or something, because the problem falls on the government not supporting people
It’s okay to have an abortion if you’re not ready to be a mother either. The idea of just aborting fetuses for no other reason than disability, however, implies that there’s less value in disabled people...
