if you want to save whatever underlying strain in the idea is still sympathetic (transhumanist stuff, maybe?) you’ll need a new word and, probably, to redefine the whole category structure into which you want to introduce it. this one is irretrievably poisoned. let it go.

Yeah i think somehow i missed the cultural memo of eugenics having some deeply negative connotation. I had a weird education growing up and always in my brain eugenics was a really neutral word. I'm fine with using a new one.
