First: nobody becomes autistic after birth. Some acquired conditions share traits with autism, and thus may be mistaken for autism...but autism is something people are born with, period. Second: Autistics know non-autistics want us to disappear. We don't need to be reminded.

Furthermore: Non-autistics don't get to have an opinion on whether or not autistics should be born. Even autistics don't get to have an opinion on whether OTHER autistics should be born. Wanting autistics to not be born is eugenics. Fuck everyone who supports eugenics.

im curious about how you feel about this scenario: In a world with advanced tech: woman, 4th week pregnancy, finds out her fetus will have very severe autism, will never be able to live alone, can't talk, etc. The woman chooses to abort. Is this okay?

If she chooses to abort entirely unrelated to the fetus being autistic, because she is not financially, mentally, or physically prepared for the child? Yes. If she's aborting because she didn't get the child she wanted, full well knowing this was a possible outcome, no its not.
