Most of the serious meditation people I've run into have been men. Is serious meditation actually gendered in this way or do I just have a skewed sample?
I've more understood it as something like social vs systemic thinking being the primary gender division; I'm surprised by the willpower claim here. Do you have any studies on that?
Nothing formal. But in general, it seems to me men are driven by conquest whereas women are driven by being able to identify, attract, and surrender to a worthy winner. Even at the biological/gamete level. The woman first shows interest/readiness, but the man makes the first move
