Most of the serious meditation people I've run into have been men. Is serious meditation actually gendered in this way or do I just have a skewed sample?
I wonder about this! Daniel did mention to me that he saw gender differences in approach to this sort of thing, and iirc implied that women tend to be less interested in his style of systemic approach. Is meditation more of a systemic approach then?

Yoga is systemic...and popular with women? So.. why the yoga/meditation gender split? My guess — meditation is more “cerebral” and yoga “holistic” (associated with masculinity and femininity, respectively). Your thoughts?
