Most of the serious meditation people I've run into have been men. Is serious meditation actually gendered in this way or do I just have a skewed sample?
I've more understood it as something like social vs systemic thinking being the primary gender division; I'm surprised by the willpower claim here. Do you have any studies on that?
You have to look at the origins of meditation ... Sufis, Yogis, Mystics, ... as far as I can remember they were mostly men. If not all. Historically not today.
