I don't think I've fully caught up to the fact I have a lot of followers on twitter. I treat this similarly to talking to my friends, but more and more I'm getting interactions from a different demographic of people than the one who originally started following me.

I don't really know how to handle it. People are less charitable and expect more from my tweets, and I'm feeling less room to just wordvomit, as is typically my preferred method. This is really weird and idk if I should update or not.

I’ve followed you since you first put yourself out there on reddit years ago. I’ve always appreciated your takes on religion and science— similar upbringing. In recent years I’ve found your takes on gender and masculinity to be very refreshing in the face of the Trump backlash.
