I hear many say they got an unusual flu-like illness in January, so maybe Covid was much more widespread than we think. I also got something like that Jan. 19, knocked me down & took a few months to go away. But my explanation is different. 1/2

I suspect that current medical system fails to diagnose MOST of the times we are infected, & also MOST new infections that pass through society. Many are mild & generic enough that few seek treatment, & others we usually diagnose & treat using general symptoms, not RNA tests. 2/2

That is, likely I and many others DID suffer from a new infection going around then, but it wasn't Covid. As there are lots of new things going around all the time that are never officially recognized.

I have a friend who suffered a weird, covid-like illness in January that tested negative for strep and everything else. He recently got tested to see if he has antibodies for covid, and it was negative.
Thank you for a rational contribution as usual. Did he get the test through a doctor?

In January I got very sick (flu like illness but much worse), no sleep for 2 days and almost checked myself into the ED. Had no idea what it was. Today I checked my #COVID19 Antibody status......IgG+ Only (sign of past infection). Mixed emotions
. Will retest tomorrow.
