Right, and I think this is getting closer to the heart of how my gender framework differs. For me, gender is much closer to a discrete category than anything else; I process the definition of gender as internally decided as inconsistent and nonsensical, like what does it mean?

when e.g. an afab nonbinary person tells me they're not a woman, im like... what does that even mean? You look like a woman, obviously. You act like one, people treat you like one. What does it mean to not 'feel like' one? How could you 'feel like' anything?

I'm down with there being gaps in feelings but this one seems much closer to being some sort of collective mythology; people claim to have this sort of gendersense but then are completely incapable of describing it? Seems really weird to me.

This is really frustrating to me. I'm not saying you're being dishonest or anything, just that "i can't describe it" is where these conversations end up and then I'm stuck again. I wish someone could answer me on this.

At its core, it doesn't feel like anything. At its core, I'm not a woman, because "I" am not any of the traits of womanness. I just happen to look a way that has resulted in me playing a certain role in society.

I don't mind people treating me like a woman, it works out for me. If I didn't like it I'd probably try to change my appearance so people would treat me differently.
