See it seems weird to me that you can be such an advocate and find this a hilarious thing to say to someone. Why "lol" at someone directly denying their identity and... nothing else?

I thought it was directed at me, and liked that.
Right...because it's not meant to be harmful to you, it's meant to be harmful to this community you claim to advocate for. If somebody says an unrelated slur to me I wouldn't go "lol doesn't bother me it's actually just funny".

I don't think you have to be a perfect advocate or anything. It's just weird for that be your first reaction when someone denies trans people's existence in your thread.
