yeah, the ones on this thread are *after* the giant spew of hatred I've been getting over the past day. I just keep refreshing and blocking, refreshing and blocking. I missed a big swathe of people when I was sleeping.
I've avoided posting messages online my entire life, because of how poorly people seem to react to things they disagree with; and I guess I'm quite sensitive. Seeing how you deal with it all is inspiring.

Thanks so much! I really think my life accidentally prepared me for this; growing up in a professionally evangelist family, I was conditioned from a young age that it's ok when large swathes of people hate you, this is normal.

you deserve to be hated if you try to force a worldview that excludes certain people from validity of existence, if you weren't hated for it we would be in a much more fucked up world.
