The idea that my views on things hurt people is a really dangerous one. The world where opinions are shut down not by discussion but by "it hurts" is like some freaky dystopian future for me
The idea that you have an impact on and potentially the power to harm others is "dystopian" to you? Are you sure you just aren't clutching your pearls because people are disagreeing with you or upset at what you said on a public forum
