Dude the online trans crowd is the most uncharitable, cruel group I've ever encountered. Had to block a hundred people calling me a piece of shit this morning.

I do call people by the pronouns they want without saying anything else about it. I just also wish the world was different such that I could also be honest.

Yes I do
And I like being able to be honest. I know the world isn't set up for that, but in my ideal world I'm able to be unfiltered about my experience (given I own it as mine and don't project it onto others) in all things.
Lmfao do you not grasp that the trans people replying to you are actually being unfiltered about their experiences and you’re blasting them for it? You keep demanding to ply your gender framework over other people as some kind of “truth” while shutting down response.
I really get the feeling, but oof. You just can't expect a disadvantaged group to get on your preferred level of discourse on Twitter. In this not perfect world feelings are gonna be hurt by honest statements, so you either accept the backlash or dial down on controversy 🤷♀️
Being honest, and stating your opinion (unprompted) about how you don't agree with how someone identify themselves, are not intrinsically entwined?
They might have given you their preferred pronoun specifically to not have you tell them how you'd otherwise label them?
There is no practical nor acceptable version of the current reality or any ideal utopia where it would ever be relevant to state “I reject the notion that you are a different gender than your birth sex but sure, I’ll humor you and call you that”.
