This person is constructing false narratives for political expediency by claiming that you were regarding them as subhumans (even if you weren’t) to manipulate your desire to maintain a good moral reputation (a reasonable thing).

You just don't think they have a right to an identity. How entitled must you be to say, "i respect you have an identity but I will only ever see you as the sex I believe you were born as"
