I only get the "you're demanding free labor" argument when I try to ask questions of very left-leaning communities. Right-leaning communities are super happy to tell me everything for free. Left wing communities tell me I'm exploiting them when i post a link to my surveys.

Reminds me rural ag communities where I found a much greater sense of "what goes around comes around" than in cities. Growing up in Berkeley, it was quite a trip to realize that a lot of the leftists I was surrounded by are hyper-individualistic in action.
