I only get the "you're demanding free labor" argument when I try to ask questions of very left-leaning communities. Right-leaning communities are super happy to tell me everything for free. Left wing communities tell me I'm exploiting them when i post a link to my surveys.

I think they have a really different view of exploitation than I (and you) do. Usually they have a big theory framework of stuff like marginalization that goes into that word.

Observation: people on the right see the passing of knowledge as transcendental (hierarchically, god to parent to child), the left transactional (worldly, sibling culture)
