I would say the actual word. Perhaps its a different matter in Australia where I live though. Strong, valid taboo against using the term as a pejorative but no major taboo about simply enunciating the syllables. In my accent, theres no audible difference ending in R or A... 🤔

It amazes me that people maintain a list of taboo words in 2020 from which it is not merely impolite to utter, but makes you a Bad Person regardless of context. Seems more like a concept from 1000 years ago we should laugh at, like self-flagellation.

I never say this word, unless I’m discussing how racist it is for white people to use it. I have zero problem with black people reclaiming it, but only by themselves for themselves. When white people used it, it was purely derogatory so it’s a no from me.
