General feminism hasn't really resonated with me, like yeah I generally agree but it's not really my style, yknow?
But recently I discovered libertarian feminism as a term and I am jivin with it *hard*, like is the way I feel about this what regular feminists have been feeling?

The usefulness of any ideology breaks down eventually. Just sort out issues as they come

someone should make human nature/psychology informed feminist movement that takes a bio-deterministic approach to women's poor treatment in the past, but looks to the future to make women as happy/safe as possible

In addition to the other comments, how do we define "general feminism?" Someone said "libertarianism is a big tent." Well, I think the last few years has proven that feminism is, too. I also wonder if the catharsis you're suggesting is as healthy as detached criticism. 1/2

Part of the reason certain aspects of modern feminism are so deeply criticized is that proponents are far too "passionate" about it. Perhaps we shouldn't be looking for communities in movements, but sober critics willing to give any new ideas a fair shake. My 2 cents. 2/2
