People generally view landlords as making easy money without providing value. I like easy money, so I started planning on buying a house and I read a bunch of landlord forums. And after seeing what landlords were saying... then I wasn't so sure. It almost seemed not worth it.

I've known many people who lived on the street, some were close friends, they seemed to be doing ok, some actively liked it

I mean do you think I'm lying? For a while my primary friend group was the homeless people outside my apartment in the U District, Seattle. I also dated a guy who spent 6 years of his life homeless (tho tbf often not sleeping on street).
