The pill holds a low dose of coronavirus. If you take it, you get a safe, isolated, free place to stay and someone nearby to leave food/medicine at your door until you get better.
If it gets serious, you still have to try to get hospital help like everyone else.
Do you take it?

What's the advantage to this over voluntary self-isolation for people that already have those resources?

If I get it today. Hospitals aren’t overwhelmed yet - don’t want to get it when they are.

Swallowing a pill of Coronavirus wouldn’t give you Coronavirus. You’d need to inhale the virus into your lungs.
That technicality aside, I would not want to be infected because I am old enough that my odds of surviving are lower than the average person.
