Absolutely! My dad had his IQ tested at 146 and I wouldn't trust him with alone with a basic facthttps://twitter.com/sbkaufman/status/1239994965662429185 …

Sources? I don't find a consensus on the topic. For example https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4557354/ … found that IQ/job performance wasn't strongly correlated in recent studies, and small correlations could easily be explained by various factors

"There remains great uncertainty about the interpretation of IQ-job performance correlations and great caution needs to be exercised in using them as a basis for the validity of IQ tests and associated concepts."

Yeah this is true; here's a meta-analysis of studies about IQ and job performance (http://home.ubalt.edu/tmitch/645/session%204/Schmidt%20&%20Oh%20MKUP%20validity%20and%20util%20100%20yrs%20of%20research%20Wk%20PPR%202016.pdf …). Look especially at the table on page 66 (NB: their numbers for job interviews are very optimistic compared to other studies with different range-restriction corrections)

Sorry, I would need a lot more time to fully understand this, but do you know if this study is controlling for education/family environment/previous work experience/other factors that might effect both IQ scores and job performance?
