I've been on a horror movie binge while trapped inside my house during this global breakdown. Can yall recommend your favorite horror movie with a solid tweet-long pitch? (Just watched Midsommar and Hereditary, loved them both)

If these are your definition of “horror movies”, I suggest you revise your list. Although, It Follows & Hereditary were excellent. Here’s some real scary stuff: Evil Dead 1 The Exorcist The Grudge The Conjuring 1 & 2 Insidious

The most horrifying thing about "The Conjuring" is how much the Warrens scammed people.

The original is creepier... for me it was all of the singing.

what did you think? that's been on my list for a while. (also highly recommend Babadook and It Follows if you haven't seen them. Wonderfully thrilling, truly scary/original, and themes run deep)

The original Wicker man is excellent. Too bad you watched the remake first. Suspiria and Rosemary's baby are classic tales of Witchcraft. And the Void is excellent Lovecraftian horror.
