I know I'm pretty skeptical of systemic racism stuff but so far this seems like great evidence for its existence.

We also find a price penalty for Black hosts (-10.1%) and a price premium for hosts who smile more (+3.6%). Important: this is after controlling for many potential confounds (e.g., review scores, apartment size, looks, and location).
